After an information event on the fixed link across the Fehmarnbelt with Transport Minister Dr. Jörn Biel, Femern A/S opened its info-centre on the fixed link. Minister Dr. Jörn Biel stated that he appreciated the opening and encouraged everybody to visit the centre.

Starting today, visitors can inform themselves on the project on three days per week. The exhibition provides information on various issues, as for example on the expected economic effects, environmental investigations and the protection of the environment during the construction. The info-centre is designed as a place of dialogue where visitors can pass on their expectations and suggestions. Bernhard and Ingegärd Ketels run the info-centre. The couple has been living on Fehmarn for 30 years and is looking forward to interesting discussions with their fellow citizens. The admission to the info-centre is free.
