As expected, Femern A/S has received four tenders for a bridge project, and three tenders for a tunnel project. In the course of the coming three months, Femern A/S will assess the tenders and subsequently choose two of the bidding groups: one for the bridge project and one for the tunnel project. In spring 2009, the two groups to be awarded a consultancy assignment will then compete to develop the best possible project, as only one solution – either bridge or tunnel – will be implemented.
