In this example, the main bridge would be a multi-segment cable-stayed bridge, with three main spans of 724 m each and two side span arrangements of 518 m each, yielding a total length of 3,208 m. The two approach bridges would have a length of 6,000 m (in the south) and 9,360 m (in the north).
