After completion, they will be towed to site to be immersed in a pre-dredged trench. After immersion, the trench will be backfilled.

The structural works will be completed by a number of mechanical and electrical installations, traffic control and monitoring systems. Combined with the finishing of the tunnel, they will make the tunnel an intelligently operated, safe and reliable infrastructural asset.
