Presskit: Approval procedure

Before the actual construction of the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link, the national approval procedures in Germany and Denmark need to be completed. In Germany, this involves the application for a plan approval process. In Denmark, the project will be approved by a Construction Act being passed. It is expected that the approval procedures will be completed in 2013 in Denmark and in 2014 in Germany. Construction is planned to begin in 2014.

Further information on the approval procedure is available here.
