Consultancy contract on electrical and mechanical systems awarded

The contract has been awarded to Danish ÅF Hansen & Henneberg in a joint venture with German Pövry Infra GmbH. The joint venture will assist Femern A/S throughout the tender phase and may also assist during the construction period.

The electrical and mechanical systems in the tunnel include, among others, power supply and systems for lighting, communication, ventilation, drainage, fire fighting, intelligent traffic control, traffic signage and certain installations in the control centre and the toll station.

ÅF Hansen & Henneberg and Pövry Infra GmbH won the contract in competition with four other prequalified companies.
