“151 people registered for the trip, so we had to bus a full busload of people every day for three days,” explains travel club organizer Pia Winther. “Annette Barnasch is a co-owner of a local taxi firm. She speaks Danish and she agreed to be our guide. She performed brilliantly.”
“It was a fantastic trip,” says Sakskøbing resident Lola Bække, who participated in the tour.
“I’d been on Fehmarn twice before - in Petersdorf on cycling trips. But the bus drove us around the whole island and we saw lots of exciting things, the beaches, harbours and the dike. We also had an excellent guide."
"We normally only come out to the periphery of Burg to shop. So we’d never actually seen Burg itself. The tour itinerary meant we were able to eat lunch in Burg and we had a whole two hours to ourselves to look around. It is such a lovely town. I would certainly tell my friends they should visit and also return myself if the trip is arranged again,” says Lola Bække.
