New positive assessment of German rail hinterland connection

On 11 November 2010, the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development presented the results of the re-evaluation of the Master Plans on rail and road infrastructure investment. The cost-benefit-ratio of the German railway hinterland connection of the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link was rated 1 to 6.7. The Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link
