Prequalification of consultants for electrical and mechanical systems

The consultant is supposed to assist Femern A/S throughout the tendering and may also assist during the construction period.

The electrical and mechanical systems in the tunnel include among other things power supply and systems for lighting, communication, ventilation, drainage and fire fighting. Also intelligent traffic control systems, traffic signage and certain installations in the control centre and the toll station will be included in the contract.

The prequalified entities are as follows:

• ÅF Hansen & Henneberg in a joint venture with Pövry Infra GmbH
• Mott MacDonald Ltd.
• Ramboll – Arup – TEC joint venture
• COWI A/S in collaboration with HBI Haerter AG, M&E Engineering, GBI Gackstatter Beratende Ingenieure GmbH, Barbara Consult and HOJ Consulting GmbH
• Grontmij A/S in a joint venture with Capita Symonds Ltd.

Femern A/S has invited the prequalified companies to a pre-bid conference on 25 October 2011. Closing date for delivering bids to Femern A/S is 28 November 2011.
