Sund & Bælt Holding A/S

Sund & Bælt Holding A/S is owned by the Danish Ministry of transport and is the mother company for A/S Storebælt, A/S Øresund, A/S Femern, Sund og Bælt Partner A/S and Brobizz A/S. Concurrent Sund & Bælt Holding A/S is the operating company for A/S Storebælt and A/S Øresund.

Rail Net Denmark Railway Development is responsible for the planning of railway infrastructure in Denmark and is thus in charge of initial project design and research in connection with upcoming civil engineering projects. This includes contact with authorities, dialogue with the public and formulating the decision-making basis for political processes.

STRING (Southwestern Baltic Sea TransRegional Area – Inventing New Geography)

The regions of Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Zealand, the capital city region of Copenhagen and Scania have jointly formed the STRING venture in order to strengthen cooperation in the region.

Fehmarnbelt Business Council

The Fehmarnbelt Business Council is a group of different business organisations from Germany, Denmark and Sweden, with the goal of supporting international cooperation in the Fehmarnbelt region.

Femern Bælt Development

The Femern Bælt Development Fund is an organisation that provides information on the tourism and business opportunities that the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link will bring to the Zealand region.

Hansebelt

Entrepreneurs from the region between Hamburg and the Fehmarnbelt have joined together into Hansebelt in order to work together to strengthen the economic development of the region.

Destination Fehmarnbelt

Destination Fehmarnbelt is an EU INTERREG project that aims to promote the Fehmarnbelt region as a transborder destination for leisure and business tourism for both Danish and German visitors. The project partners responsible are Ostsee-Holstein-Tourismus e.V. and Østdansk Turisme.

Femern Belt Logistics

Femern Belt Logistics has created a logistical platform to establish multiple strong networks of cooperation in the logistics sector and identify cooperation possibilities in the Femern Belt region as a direct result of the fixed link expected to be ready in 2021.

The Femern Belt Logistics will ensure that the fixed link - when ready in 2021 - will be the logi(sti)cal gateway to and from the continent.

Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link Dialogue Forum

The Dialogue Forum was established in 2011 by the federal state government of Schleswig-Holstein. Its task is to follow, in a transparent manner, the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link project and the landworks on the German side and to create a means of citizen participation through the exchange of information between members. In addition to the project proponents, the federal state government and the Ostholstein District, the Dialogue Forum includes representatives of various local and regional players such as citizens' initiatives, municipalities and cities, chambers of commerce, trade unions, business and farmers' associations and tourist boards.

The Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link
Femern A/S is tasked with designing and planning of a fixed link between Denmark and Germany across the Fehmarnbelt. Femern A/S is a subsidiary of the Danish, state-owned Sund & Bælt Holding A/S, which has experience from the construction of the fixed links across the Great Belt and the Øresund.
