Operations, maintenance and reinvestments
Operation, maintenance and reinvestments are not included in the construction estimate but are a pre-condition for carrying out profitability calculations.
Femern A/S has chosen to base the operation, maintenance and reinvestments estimate on experience from the Øresund fixed link which comprises a cable-stayed bridge and an immersed tunnel. This was the same method used for the repayment time calculations carried out in 2008 prior to the passage of the Planning Act.
